We believe in a future where every   mentee has the opportunity to thrive.

 Joining Girls Inc.

By joining the Girls Inc. Network—which serves youth facing societal challenges and systemic barriers—our members will gain access to a robust framework of resources, educational opportunities, and leadership development programs.

 Our Process

Our chapter recruits mentors at the beginning of every academic semester! Although we would love to welcome every interested individual into our chapter, we accept a select number of mentors based on the needs of our mentoring sites.

You can follow along with our most accurate recruitment schedule through our Instagram.

Our Recruitment Schedule

At the start of every Fall and Spring semester, you can find our members tabling at Fall Fest and the Winter Involvement Fair! We’re always excited to meet new faces, answer your questions, and share what makes our community so special.

If you’re interested in learning more about Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn at Northeastern University and how to become a mentor, we’d love to help you get started.

Each semester, we host two information sessions for anyone interested in mentoring. These sessions are a great way to meet our Chapter Directors and members, hear about Girls Inc., and learn what it means to be part of our mentorship community. Attendance at one of these sessions is required to apply.

After attending an info session, you’ll receive access to our mentor application and have the opportunity to sign up for an interview with our executive board. Interviews take place early in the semester and give us a chance to get to know you—and for you to get to know us!
